§ 1 General Provisions
These Terms and Conditions define the rules and conditions for providing tattoo services (hereinafter: "Services") by Studio Erjeden Tattoo Toruń, operated by Grzegorz Kalinowski, located at ul. Skłodowskiej-Curie 12/4, 87-100 Toruń, NIP (Tax Identification Number): 8792640907, hereinafter referred to as the "Studio".
These Terms and Conditions constitute an integral part of the service agreement concluded between the Client and the Studio.
Booking an appointment or commencing the session implies the Client has read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions as well as the Privacy Policy.
The Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The new version becomes effective upon making it available at the Studio's premises and on the website (if applicable).
§ 2 Booking and Deposit
Booking a Service requires a deposit of at least 100 PLN (in words: one hundred Polish zloty) paid within 3 working days from making the initial reservation.
The deposit can be paid in cash at the Studio or via bank transfer to the account provided by the Studio.
The booking is confirmed only after the deposit is credited to the Studio's account.
The Client has the right to cancel or reschedule the appointment at least 3 working days before the scheduled date. In such cases, the deposit is fully refunded or transferred to a new date (at the Client's discretion).
Canceling or rescheduling later than 3 working days before the appointment, as well as failing to show up, will result in the forfeiture of the deposit to the Studio.
Booking a new appointment requires a new deposit.
§ 3 Prices and Payment Terms
The price of the Service is determined individually for each project and depends primarily on the size of the tattoo, placement on the body, complexity of the design, and the time required to complete it.
The minimum price for a single tattoo is 200 PLN (in words: two hundred Polish zloty).
The paid deposit is deducted from the final price of the Service.
The remaining balance must be paid in cash or by bank transfer immediately after the session is completed, before leaving the Studio.
§ 4 Cancellation or Rescheduling by the Studio
The Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Service for important reasons, notifying the Client at least 1 working day before the planned date.
If the Client does not accept the proposed new date, the Studio will immediately refund the deposit in full.
The Studio reserves the right to refuse to perform the Service without providing a reason. In such cases, the deposit is refunded in full.
§ 5 Preparation and Consultations
The Studio recommends a preliminary consultation to discuss the design, size, color palette, and to rule out any health contraindications.
Before the tattoo session begins, the Client is required to fill out a health questionnaire and read the information regarding tattoo aftercare and possible side effects.
§ 6 Session Process and Liability
The final result of the tattoo depends on the Client's individual skin properties, the healing process, and strict adherence to the aftercare instructions.
The Studio and the tattoo artist are not liable for allergic reactions, healing complications, or other consequences arising from the Client's individual bodily characteristics, provided the procedure was performed in accordance with professional and hygiene standards.
The Studio may interrupt or refuse to perform the procedure if:
the Client's health deteriorates during the session,
there is a suspicion that the Client is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other psychoactive substances,
health contraindications or skin conditions preventing safe tattooing are identified.
In the above cases, the deposit is non-refundable unless the refusal is solely due to the Studio's fault.
§ 7 Studio Rules
The following are strictly prohibited on the Studio's premises:
being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicants,
smoking tobacco and e-cigarettes,
consuming alcohol or meals,
bringing animals,
the presence of children under 16 years of age.
The Client is obliged to maintain order, keep quiet, respect the Studio's property, and adhere to hygiene rules.
§ 8 Age Requirements
The Studio provides tattoo services only to persons who are 18 years of age or older.
In exceptional cases, the Studio may tattoo a person aged 16–17 ONLY in the presence of a parent or legal guardian, upon presenting valid ID documents of both parties, and after obtaining clear written consent from the legal guardian.
The Studio does not accept consent forms brought in by a minor without the personal presence of the legal guardian.
§ 9 Tattoo Aftercare and Touch-ups
The Client agrees to strictly follow the written or verbal tattoo aftercare instructions provided.
The Studio offers one free touch-up within 6 months from the date the tattoo was completed, provided the flaw is due to reasons attributable to the Studio/artist and was not caused by improper aftercare.
Any concerns regarding the healing process must be reported to the Studio immediately.
§ 10 Copyrights and Image Rights
The property and personal copyrights to the tattoo design and its execution belong to the artist/Studio.
The Client grants the Studio free, non-exclusive, unlimited in time and territory consent to capture and publish images of the completed tattoo for promotional and portfolio purposes (especially on social media, the website, and in printed promotional materials).
§ 11 Complaints
Complaints regarding the performed Service must be submitted in writing (via email or in-person) within 14 days from the date the Client noticed the defect.
